A Task Search tab has been added to the Eclipse Search pane. You can enter a task ID or keywords in the text field and, if desired, limit the search by selecting particular attributes that the task must have. If you do not select any criteria all the tracker items will match. If you make any selection, then the selections are AND together, so only if tracker item matches selected Severity, Resolution, Status etc. it will be shown. Press Enter or click "Search" to proceed with the query to the CodeBeamer repository.
Note: There is an "Update attributes from Repository" button near the bottom of the search dialog. When this button is clicked, it will query the CodeBeamer repository for new options. These options are for the task attributes such as milestone, product, etc. This allows CodeBeamer to contain the latest information so that you can perform a better search.
If a CodeBeamer ID was entered, that particular task report will open in the Repository Task Viewer.
If a task id was not entered, the results will appear in the Search results tab. From here, you can open any of the items by double-clicking on them.
Previous CodeBeamer queries are accessible through the drop-down history menu at the right end of the view's toolbar.
